• 美籍日裔的真锅淑郎（Syukuro Manabe）和德国的克劳斯·哈塞尔曼（Klaus Hasselmann），

  • “以表彰其对地球气候的物理建模、量化变化和可靠地预测全球变暖（for the physical modelling of Earth’s climate, quantifying variability and reliably predicting global warming）”；

• 意大利的乔治·帕里西（Glorglo Parisi），

  • “发现了从原子到行星尺度的物理系统中无序和波动的相互作用（for the discovery of the interplay of disorder and fluctuation in physical systems from atomic to planetary scales）”。
