昨天我“发火”了一下，抱怨了一下住家不让彼得用电脑。信是写给带队老师的，全文如下：
Hi Ms Ni,
Our quick discussion today refers.
This is an official letter of dissatisfaction of Peter\’s home stay for not allowing him to use computer to do necessary paper works assigned.
First of all, when we wrote up the requirements of the home stay, we put computer availability as one of the requirements as we know there should some works assigned which need computer access.
Secondly, the home stay basic information (as attached) sent from Canada mentioned that a computer is available and did not mention any constraints on the usage.
Also, during the preparation meetings before Peter left for Canada, we were also told that it was not advisable to bring a laptop to avoid over usage and too much game playing. Thus, we only provided him an iPod for daily communication.
As such, when we heard that Peter still cannot use the computer and thus have some difficulty to submit his assigned homework, we felt very surprised and totally unacceptable.
Please help to investigate and provide an immediate and solution for this.
Please help to forward this message to relevant bureaus as a record. If things don\’t improve, we will have to request further actions, including but not limited to changing home stay.

抱怨是有用的，今天和老彼得聊天时他就是在用电脑写作业。
然后我给老师又另写了一封，讨论了一些问题：
倪老师，谢谢！
事情解决了就好。
我会和Peter谈有关游戏控制的问题。其实这在另一方面也反映出住家和Peter的沟通也是不够细致的。
如果是我，我会多和一个外国小朋友多聊天，用最简单的语言沟通。
小孩子即使英语水平有多好又能有多好？又是一个人在国外，人生地不熟的。这个主动沟通的“棒”难道不应该是在住家吗？我们孩子绝对不是内向的人，当然他喜欢游戏。但是如果有沟通，知道其诉求有人倾听，甚至有人主动和他沟通，他也不会有那么大的游戏瘾的。
在这个问题上，还希望倪老师再多多跟进。
关于作业、考试的问题，我今天也和他聊了一下。我个人觉得问题不大，我也不是太担心。
我现在最关心的是，要在加拿大有收获。从目前的一个月来看，收获不大。希望在下两个月有更多的收获。
